GDS Strike on 9 July | जानिए क्या है प्रमुख मांगे

डाक विभाग कोई साधारण कार्यालय नहीं, यह ग्रामीण भारत की रीढ़ है, जो अंतिम छोर तक वहाँ पहुँचता है जहाँ कोई अन्य सरकारी सेवा नहीं पहुँचती। यह महत्वपूर्ण संस्था आज केंद्र सरकार की कर्मचारी-विरोधी नीतियों के चलते खतरे में है, जैसे कि आईडीसी (IDC), अंधाधुंध मशीनीकरण, और बीपीएम/एबीपीएम के जबरन विलय से दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में शाखा डाक घरों को बंद किया जा रहा है।

सेवा शर्तों, नौकरी की सुरक्षा और ग्रामीण डाक सेवकों (GDS) के भविष्य की रक्षा से जुड़े मूलभूत मुद्दे आज भी लंबित हैं। हम इस रवैये का कड़ा विरोध करते हैं, जो न केवल वर्तमान कर्मचारियों को नुकसान पहुंचा रहा है, बल्कि आने वाली पीढ़ियों का भविष्य भी खतरे में डाल रहा है।

हमारी प्रमुख मांगें:

 •   ग्रामीण डाक सेवकों को 8वें केंद्रीय वेतन आयोग (8th CPC) के दायरे में लाना
   •   सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा दिए गए आदेश के अनुसार सिविल सेवक का दर्जा
   •   लंबित माँगें जैसे पेंशन, ग्रेच्युटी, चिकित्सकीय सुविधा आदि
   •   मौजूदा कैडर और ग्रामीण शाखा डाकघरों का संरक्षण

हर GDS को 9 जुलाई को होने वाली एक दिवसीय राष्ट्रव्यापी हड़ताल में शामिल होकर अपने अधिकारों की रक्षा और ग्रामीण डाक सेवा की आत्मा को बचाने के लिए आगे आना होगा।

Postal Department is not just another office it is the backbone of rural India, connecting the last mile where no other government service reaches. This vital establishment is now under threat due to Centre’s anti-employee measures like IDC, blind mechanisation, and the forced merger of BPMs/ABPMs, which are systematically closing down Branch Offices in remote areas.

Basic demands concerning service conditions, job security, and future protection of GDS remain pending. We strongly oppose this approach which not only harms the present workforce but puts the future of generations at risk.

We demand:
   •   Inclusion of GDS under the 8th Central Pay Commission
   •   Civil Servant status by Supreme Court
   •   Long Pending issues like Pension, Gratuity medical benefits & others
   •   Protection of existing Cadres and rural Branch Offices
